What’s Rotary Shaft Seal?

Rotary Shaft Seal, also known as rotary lip seal, belongs to oil seal. It install in between the rotating shaft and the static seals. Rotary Shaft Seal is used for excluding dust, water, dirt or other particles.
Rotary Shaft Seal, as a kind of dynamic seal, comprising of a PTFE ring and a rubber O ring, used in the rotary joint, shaft and other application, widely used in Engineering Machinery, Construction Machinery and Automotive Industries.
Rotary Shaft Seal is a double-acting seals.
For other Rotary Shaft Seal, there is three parts of it, metal case, rubber sealing element, and a garter spring. The metal case will give the strength to the seal, the rubber sealing part is to stop fluid from leaking between the shaft and the housing, as a good result, the garter spring will help make the rubber sealing element more effective.
