What’s the difference between Quad-Ring and O-Ring?

Quad-Ring, is a general seals for the hydraulic cylinder, a typical lip seal. The difference between the Quad-Ring and O-Ring is the cross section shape, actually, Quad-Ring is a upgraded version of O-Ring.
Quad-Ring can totally replace the O-Ring, non-round cross section, avoid rolling during the reciprocating motion. It improves the performance of O-Ring, refer to the same standard of AS568 as O-Ring.
