What’s the V seal and advantages?

V seal is a type of forming packing seal with V shape cross section. It has small working resistance, stable running, high pressure resistance, vibration resistance and impact resistance, which can meet different requirement of medium and working condition.

It can use multiple seals, and can be obtained by adjusting the pressing force.

But the V seal has large friction, complex structure, it shall be used with  pressure ring and supporting ring, the sealing performance is not so stable.

The V seal applies for reciprocating movement, use as piston and rod dynamic seal, also can be used in the rotating or swing or static application.
