Precautions to select repair seals for hydraulic equipment

In the selection of repair seals for hydraulic equipment, most of the users will select according to the used seals size and color, which removed on the mechanical equipment, this will increase the difficulty of procurement, and may not be able to buy a suitable seals. We recommend some methods to select repair seals as below.

Movement direction
Know about the seals movement direction, reciprocating, rotating, spiral or fixed.

Sealing position, it is a rod seals or piston seals?

Temperature level
Select the seals based on the original mechanical use instructions or according to the actual working environment assessment work peak temperature.

Size
Some maintenance personnel will use the used seals, but the seal product has been used for  a period of time within the mechanical equipment, the size may be changed by temperature, pressure and wear and other factors. Seriously changed its original size, take the groove dimension into consideration when choose the size.
