Reason of Leakage of Hydraulic Sealing System

The leakage of hydraulic sealing system for construction machinery equipment can be divided into two types, one is internal sealing failure and the other is external sealing failure leakage.

Internal sealing failure leakage

Owing to the wear of the sealing product in the hydraulic system of the construction machinery, the leakage inside the seal product is becoming more and more obvious. Slight internal leakage may not perceive. However, with the increase of internal leakage, the overheating of the sealing system of construction machinery will become a problem. When it happens, the other seals of the construction machinery seal begin to fail. A simple way of identifying internal leaks in a construction machinery seal system is to test the working period of the system at full load and no load. If you spend a lot of time than the no-load time to complete the job when loaded, it can be suspected that the pump may fail the seal and cause internal leakage.

External sealing failure leakage

Sealing failure leakage in the pressure pipe can be easily found, because the leaked hydraulic oil can be seen. Maintenance personnel and operators should always check each seal in the hydraulic system, timely discover leakage and immediately began to solve the leakage problems of sealing failure. However, it is difficult to detect the external leakage at the suction port of the pump. If you find one of the following five of the phenomenon, you can suspect the occurrence of sealing failure leakage for the system suction pipe:

1. There are air bubbles in the hydraulic oil

2. The hydraulic system is unstable

3. The hydraulic system is overheating

4. The mailbox pressure increased

5. Pump noise increases

If any of the above phenomena exist, you should first check all the suction pipe joints and connections to find the leak point, for the hose connector, do not over-tighten. Because the excessive tightening will lead to deformation of the pipe joints, sealing effect is not ideal, and will increase the leakage.
