Coaxial seal special for piston rod

Update:2018-07-11

The coaxial seal is also referred to as a piston rod seal. The coaxial seal is made of a slide ring with good lubrication properties and a small coefficient of friction, and a rubber seal that acts as an elastomer. The slide ring material is filled with PTFE with very low friction coefficient, and the elastomer is rubber O ring (or rubber square ring, rubber X ring).

Coaxial seals

The coaxial seal of the piston rod is directional. The seal for the piston rod is sealed by an external leak, which requires high sealing. The sealed contact portion is formed in a stepped shape and has a cutting edge, so it is also called a stepped sealing port, so that the "scraping" effect of the cutting edge reduces the oil film when the piston rod is extended;

When the piston rod is retracted, the sealing beveled surface protects the oil film by hydrodynamic action and returns it to the working chamber, thus improving the sealing and lubrication conditions.

Coaxial seals can be used in piston and piston rod seals.

1. The coaxial seal of the piston is composed of a glyd ring and an elastic rubber ring;

2. The coaxial seal of the piston rod is composed of a step seal and an elastic rubber ring. The coaxial seal of the piston rod can achieve a two-way seal.
