X-ring application industry and characteristics

The X-ring is a four-lip seal with a cross-sectional shape similar to X.

The application range of such seals is very wide.

A suitable mechanical or equipment sealing material can be selected based on temperature, pressure and medium. In order to adapt the X-ring as a sealing element to a given application, the mutual constraints of all operating parameters should be considered.

Peak temperatures, continuous operating temperatures, and operating cycles must be considered when determining application specifications. In the case of rotation, the temperature rise due to frictional heat must also be considered. Seal features:

1. Compared with the O-ring, since the X-ring forms a lubrication cavity between the sealing lips, it has a small frictional resistance and a starting resistance.
