Requirements of shaft and groove

To maximize the performance of PTFE seal excellent and durability, and avoid installation.Improper damaged seals, shaft sealing surface and groove are needed.Appropriate processing. When installed, PTFE sealing lip must face the pressure side.

Shaft

■Shaft surface hardness≧40HRC（poor lubrication or high speed occasion≧ 58HRC)

■Grinding and polishing the surface to remove the sharp angle, the surface roughness Ra=0.2～0.5 um,vacuum applications Ra≦0.2um

■Shaft dimensional tolerances h11

■Face conduction angle 15° to 30°

Groove

■Surface roughness Ra≦0.8um

■Groove dimensional tolerances H8

■Face conduction angle 5° to 15°
