Sealing Principle of Rectangular Seals.

Rectangular seals can be applied to bi-directional fixed seals, just like O type seals. Owing to the contact force of installation, the interface produces initial sealing performance in both radial direction and axial direction. DSH Seals believes that as the contact force will increase by the increasing pressure of hydraulic system. Thus, the total sealing pressure will increase by the increasing pressure of hydraulic system, and its distribution of contact force as below.

Because adopting excellent elastic materials, when rectangular seals are under pressure, it performs likes the fluids that owned high surface tension. And the pressure can  uniformly deliver the section and features to every aspects to reduce the reciprocation.
