Special shape rubber seals

Generally speaking, besides round and square cross section, the others seals in rubber or rubber fabric material may have special shape, such as Y shape, V shape, U shape, D shape, X shape, triangle shape, T shape and so on.

Because of the different structures, there are different characteristics, and apply in different applications.

X shape ring, also known as quad ring, compare to O ring, quad ring has four  round protrusion, contact with rod surface, has good sealing performance even only in low compression force, and has low friction, not easy to slide, strong anti-twisting.

D shape ring, good resistant to bruising and self sealing performance.

T shape ring, use with back-up rings will has good anti-high pressure extrusion performance.
