What is V packing?

V packing is formed packing seals, it is the section of V-shaped lip seal ring. It has the characteristics of small working resistance, stable operation, high pressure resistance, vibration resistance and impact resistance, and can meet the different medium and using conditions. 

V packing can be used in multiple stacks, and the best sealing effect can be obtained by adjusting the pressing force. However, its frictional resistance is large and the structure is complex. It is necessary to use a pressure ring and a support ring, and the sealing performance is unstable.

 It is suitable for reciprocating movement as a dynamic seal for a piston or piston rod, but it can also be used for a part of spin, rotation or static sealing.
